Here is a chart of homes sold over the past five years. We can see the sharp increase in sales this year. The question is how much is due to the two home buyer's tax credits and how much is just a rebounding economy and sense of economic stability. Time will tell but Austin, compatarively, is faring very well in both its economy, job sector and real estate.
